Now that the Governor has signed an Executive Order extending our Board two more years, we are prioritizing items on our agenda to address as a group and gathering information so everyone may participate. It is vital that we have an outline for our action plan so that everyone can stay on the same page and be effective.

The Governor appoints Board Members with advice and consent of the senate and will be making appointments by 09/01/19. UPDATE: We are still awaiting Board appointments - contact the Governor's office and urge him to make those appointments ASAP!

 PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PAID POSITION, ONLY TRAVEL EXPENSES & PER DIEM ARE PAID TO MEMBERS OF THE BOARD. WE NEED QUALIFIED MEMBERS WHO CAN INVEST THE TIME NECESSARY, AND MAKE DECISIONS BASED ON WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR INDUSTRY.

Over the coming months we will be preparing to have bills drafted for law changes in the next legislative session in 2021. We need everyone to start contacting their representatives now. At this juncture, we just want to let them know:

• Who you are, and that you are working with other plumbers from the Rally to make changes to laws in the next legislative session.
• That you would like to keep them up to date as the process moves forward, would love to establish open dialog with them as things progress, and would like their support.
• You could also ask them if they would discuss their stance on the last vote and if they would take the time to meet with you and hear your opinions.
